Do I need a referral to see an oral surgeon in Boston?

What is All-on-X, and am I a candidate?
All-on-X is a full-arch dental implant procedure that replaces an entire row of missing or failing teeth with a fixed set of teeth supported by as few as four dental implants. Candidates typically have multiple missing, failing, or severely damaged teeth and enough bone structure, or the ability to undergo bone grafting, to support dental implants. A consultation and 3D imaging are needed to determine whether All-on-X is appropriate for you.
What’s the difference between an oral surgeon and an endodontist?
An oral surgeon specializes in surgical treatment involving the teeth, jaws, and facial structures, including extractions, dental implants, and bone grafting. An endodontist specializes in diagnosing and treating problems involving the inside of the tooth, including root canal therapy and other procedures designed to save natural teeth.
