Comfort, Calm, and Complete Confidence

At Boston Oral Surgical & Endodontic Associates, every surgical experience is designed around your comfort and safety. Our board-certified oral surgeons — supported by an affiliated board-certified physician anesthesiologist — provide a complete range of sedation and anesthesia options in a private, hospital-grade environment.

From mild relaxation to full general anesthesia, every procedure is tailored to your comfort level and closely monitored by our experienced anesthesia team.

Our Philosophy: Designed for Comfort. Defined by Precision.

Anesthesia at BOSEA is intentionally designed — not standardized.

We believe the best anesthesia care is guided by the procedure, the patient, and the moment. That’s why sedation at BOSEA is delivered through a flexible, physician-led model that matches the level of care to the complexity of surgery.

For most procedures, anesthesia is personally administered by your oral surgeon, allowing for seamless integration between surgery and sedation. For more complex cases — such as advanced All-on-X treatment — a board-certified physician anesthesiologist leads anesthesia care, allowing the surgeon to focus entirely on the surgical outcome.

In every scenario, care is coordinated, deliberate, and medically rigorous — delivered within a private environment designed to feel calm, composed, and unrushed.

This approach ensures the right expertise is present at the right time — without compromise.

This is modern oral surgery anesthesia.

Thoughtfully designed. Precisely delivered.

Sedation & Anesthesia Options

We offer several levels of sedation, each administered and monitored by trained professionals. For more advanced or complex cases, our affiliated board-certified physician anesthesiologist provides full general anesthesia, ensuring hospital-level care in a serene, private setting.

Nitrous Oxide (“Laughing Gas”)

A gentle inhaled sedative that eases mild anxiety during minor procedures. Its effects wear off quickly, allowing you to resume normal activities soon after treatment.

Oral Sedation

Medication prescribed before your visit to help you feel deeply relaxed yet conscious and responsive during your procedure.

IV Sedation (“Twilight Sedation”)

The most common choice for oral surgery. You remain in a dreamlike, semi-conscious state—comfortable, unaware, and continuously monitored by our anesthesia-trained team.

General Anesthesia (GA)

For complex surgical procedures or patients requiring deeper sedation, our affiliated board-certified physician anesthesiologist administers general anesthesia using hospital-grade monitoring and safety protocols. This collaboration allows patients to experience the highest level of comfort and safety without leaving our practice.
